· by Kyle D\'Addario · News

Sig Software has announced a new version of their interface enhancer, Drop Drawers. Version 1.2.2 adds enhanced movie playback features and allows users to more easily locate and manage "orphaned" aliases. The new version is available for OS 9, and is also available for Mac OS X DP4. According to Sig Software:

Sig Software is proud to announce the release of version 1.2.2 of Drop Drawers, its revolutionary user-interface enhancement. As of this version, Drop Drawers is available both as a Classic Mac OS application and as a native Carbon application for running on Mac OS X (Developer Preview 4).

Drop Drawers provides floating pull-out, snap-shut drawers on the sides of your screen to store text, URLs, aliases, pictures, sounds, movies, a list of running processes and anything else.

Apart from being ported to Mac OS X, Drop Drawers 1.2.2 also adds modeless movie playback and a dialog box to deal with lost alias files.

Drop Drawers is available for US$15. You can find more information at the Sig Software web site.
