Sig Software has released an update for Drop Drawers, bringing it to version 1.6.3. Drop Drawers is a Web development tool designed for interface enhancements that provide floating drawers on monitors. The update features improved Panther peformance and expanded language support. According to Sig Software:

Sig Software is proud to announce the release of Drop Drawers X 1.6.3 for Mac OS X, bringing full compatibility with OS X 10.3 (Panther).

Recognized as a Silver Winner in the 2001 MacFixit Toolbox Awards, Drop Drawers is a revolutionary user-interface enhancement which provides floating drawers on the sides of monitors to store text, URLs, aliases, scripts, pictures, sounds, movies and anything else.

Version 1.6.3 for Mac OS X fixes aesthetic issues with OS X 10.3, adds text editing in Japanese and other multibyte languages and has improved consistency checks to prevent crashes due to corrupt data. It is available immediately in English, French, German and Japanese versions.

You can find more information about Drop Drawers at the Sig Software Web site. Drop Drawers 1.6.3 is available for US$20.00.
