Final Cut Studio for Intel Macs Available

Apple released Universal Binary versions of the Final Cut Studio applications on Wednesday. Final Cut Studio 5.1 includes updated versions of Final Cut Pro HD, Soundtrack Pro, Motion 2, and DVD Studio Pro 4 that are capable of running natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. The Studio suite is priced at US$1,299, and the upgrade is $49.

If you purchased one of the Suite applications before they were available only as a bundle, you can upgrade to the full Universal Binary set of applications for $99 from Final Cut Pro 5, or $199 from Motion, Soundtrack Pro, Motion 2, or DVD Studio Pro 4.
