The grand opening of Appleis retail store at the First Colony Mall in Sugar Land, TX, will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11. In addition to the standard amenities, including the Genius Bar, this store will feature The Studio where customers can get one-on-one training from creative experts. Apple is planning a week long series of events to celebrate the Grand Opening, free training events, and free prizes including T-shirts for the first 1000 visitors.
Ten first prize winners will get a one year Apple ProCare membership, and one lucky winner will walk away with the grand prize valued at US$2,500. It includes a black 13-inch 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo MacBook, a one-year membership to ProCare, a silver iPod 4GB iPod nano, an iPod Hi-Fi, a one-year .Mac membership, iWork software, and a MacBook AppleCare Protection Plan.
