Insider Software announced the immediate availability of FontAgent Pro Server 3 on Tuesday. The new version of the font management server application added the ability to replicate itself on other networked servers for better performance.
Version 3 lets administrators manage fonts from a single master server, and then push those changes through the network to remote font servers. It also added zero configuration support for LDAP and Active or Open Directory servers, improved role-based permissions for users, supports AES 128-bit password encryption, and more.
FontAgent Pro Server 3 is priced at US$1,695 per server, and the master replication server is priced at $2,995. FontAgent Pro client licenses are priced at $129 each.
