Insider Software has released an update for FontAgent Pro, bringing it to version 1.2. FontAgent Pro is a font management utility designed for multiple font manipulation. The update features Adobe Illustrator font improvements and other performance enmhancements. According to Insider Software:
Insider Software announced today the immediate availability of FontAgent Pro 1.2, the most powerful and full-featured font utility, and the only Cocoa-based font manager for the Macintosh.
The new version adds automatic activation of fonts in documents created in Adobe Illustrator to its abilities to auto-activate fonts in QuarkXpress and Adobe InDesign.
The update also offers enhanced database management, auto-activation of fonts in OS X documents, printing support for Classic applications, as well as the ability to differentiate between Mac and Windows True Type fonts with a .ttf extension.
Brand new complete documentation eliminates the "missing manual" syndrome. Other new features and improvements include the following:
