Softpress Systems announced the immediate availability of Freeway and Freeway Pro 5.2 on Tuesday. The update for the graphic Web site design application added the ability to include iPhone application links in Web sites.
Version 5.2 supports mail, phone, map and YouTube iPhone links in Web sites, and Homescreen icons for iPhone Web Clips. It can also create different versions of movie files for iPhone EDGE or 3G/Wi-Fi connections, along with versions formatted for desktop computers.
Softpress has also published a "best practices" document for Web sites designed for the iPhone and iPod touch.
Freeway 5.2 and Freeway Pro 5.2 are free upgrades for version 5 users. The updates are available for download at the Softpress Systems Web site. Freeway is priced at US$79, and Freeway Pro costs $179.
