· by Brad Gibson · News

The Apple G5 iMac has made Fortune magazineis 2004 list of the 25 best designed products.

In picking the consumer iMac, expert panel member Paul Thompson, director of the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, called the product, "an advance as welcome as the day that VCR/DVD players were encased in the TV monitor box."

Other electronics products that made the design list included the Bose SoundDock Digital Music System, the Fuji Finepix F450 digital camera, and the SanDisk Cruzer Titanium Flash Drive.

The Design winners appear in the December 13 issue of Fortune magazine.
