Google Demos Web 2.0 Presentation Software

Google has already developed a Docs & Spreadsheet application that is Web-based. On Tuesday, they demoed an accompanying presentation application, according to C|Net.

At the OiReilly Web 2.0 Expo on Tuesday, Google CEO Eric Schmidt showed a Web-based presentation application that would be launched soon. Itis a way of doing presentations," he said in a keynote session. "Collaboration is a killer app for how communities work."

Asked if Googleis enhanced "Docs & Spreadsheets" would compete with Microsoft Office, Mr. Schmidt said, ""We donit think so. It doesnit have all the functionality, nor is it intended to have the functionality of products like Microsoft Office."

At least, not for now.
