Griffin Ships AirClick Remote for iPod

Griffin Technology announced late Thursday it is now shipping the AirClick Remote, its wireless remote control for the iPod and the iPod mini.

The AirClick Remote (shown in the photo below) uses radio frequency technology, which allows users to control their iPod from up to 60 feet away. Users will not have to be in the line of sight for it to work. The AirClick remote is compatible with all iPods that have a dock connector.

The compact remote control features five buttons -- play/pause, next track, previous track, volume up, and volume down. It also has a hold switch, similar that of the iPod.

The AirClick is priced at US$39.99.
