· by · News

HDMI Group announced Thursday that it was buying Miglia, the maker of Mac TV, video, and storage products. Pocket-Lint reported that HDMI group intended to broaden the Miglia product line to Windows. The buyout is being made with the help of SEGF, a venture capital fund.

"Not only does Miglia have an impressive range of innovative products, but the HDMI Group management team has also demonstrated excellent credentials. We look forward to a successful partnership for the future," Avent Bezuidenhoudt, Investment Manager at SEGF, said in a statement.

According to the report, the company will continue to offer Migliais products for the Mac, with the venture into the Windows world being an expansion, not a replacement of the Mac products.
