Impression Updated With OS 10.3 Optimizations

The Babel Company has released an update for Impression, bringing it to version 1.8. Impression is a utility designed for the secure backup of optical disc directories. The update features OS 10.3 optimizations. According to The Babel Company:

The Babel Company is pleased to announce the 1.8 release of Impression, a backup utility for Mac OS X.

Impression is a low cost backup utility used to back up directories to (and restore them from) multiple optical discs (CD-R, CD-RW, and DVD-R are supported). It includes a utility for erasing rewritable discs.

Impression 1.8 has been optimized to work with Mac OS 10.3 a.k.a. "Panther". The burn engine, erase engine, disk image generation module and the applicationis UI were all enhanced to achieve this compatibility. It also includes several bug fixes and additional enhancements for the backup application for Mac OS X.
