A Podcast is an audio file, usually in MP3 format that can be automatically delivered to a Macintosh PC or portable device to listen to immediately. Users can subscribe to a program that will automatically download when it becomes available.
"Podcasting uses a media aggregator, (such as iPodder X or iPodder), which automatically downloads podcasts to your computer or portable device based on a RSS feed, leaving you ione-click-awayi from latest media feeds," Inside Mac Radio host Scott Sheppard told The Mac Observer. "The whole process is done on itis own, so you donit have to select files, search for them or click links to download the media. All you do is specify some feeds and wait to get yourself the podcasts. All you have to do is decide what your going to listen."
