Intego Launches Mac Server Virus Tools

Intego announced the immediate availability of VirusBarrier Server and VirusBarrier Mail Gateway for Mac OS X Server on Thursday. The applications Universal Binary, allowing them to run natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs, and are designed to let network administrators check every file and email that passes through Mac servers for potential viruses, quarantine any infected files, and send alerts about their actions. The apps also maintain virus activity logs, auto update their definition files, and perform scheduled scans of local and network disks.

VirusBarrier Server is priced starting at US$299.95, and VirusBarrier Mail Gateway is priced starting at $499.95.
