Inventive, Inc. has released an update for iClip, bringing it to version 3.0.1. iClip is a clipboard utility designed to expand the basic feature set of the standard Mac clipboard. The update features Safari enhancements and improved control. According to Inventive:

Inventive, Inc. announces the release of iClip version 3.0.1 productivity software for Apple Macintosh computers with OS X. iClip is a multiple clipboard/scrapbook/launcher application designed to improve user efficiency and productivity for various computing tasks.

New in iClip is significantly improved compatibility with pictures dragged & dropped from Safari. This version also provides finer control over clippings that contain both a picture and a URL. Version 3.0.1 fixes a bug where iClip would sometimes crash when handling corrupted picture clippings.

You can find more information about the iClip update at the Inventive, Inc. Web site. iClip 3.0.1 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$19.95.
