Jobs, Gates to Make Joint Appearance at D Conference

Apple CEO Steve Jobs and Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates are making a rare joint appearance at the Wall Street Journalis D: All Things Digital conference in May. The two will discuss the history and future of the digital revolution on stage with Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher in an unrehearsed and unscripted session.

Both Mr. Jobs and Mr. Gates have spoken at prior D conferences, but have never been on stage together.

In addition to participating the joint interview, Mr. Jobs will be interviewed about the latest developments at Apple, including the iPhone and Apple TV, in a different session.

The D conference is conducted as a series of interviews, and does not include "canned" speeches. Additional information about the D conference is available at the All Things Digital Web site.
