Kanzu Utilities is now shipping Image Info 1.0. Image Info is an image search app designed for AppleScripters looking for information contained within images. Image Info supports several popular image formats including TIFF, JPEG, and others. According to Kanzu Utilities:
Kanzu Utilities this week released Image Info version 1.0, a new solution for AppleScripters for retrieving information about images.
Image Info is targeted at both scripters and non-scripters who wish to retrieve information about images without opening the whole image into memory. Because it does not need to open entire images, it returns the info very quickly.
More than a dozen common image formats are supported including TIFF, JPEG, EPS, PICT and GIF, and a variety of information can be retrieved about each, including resolution, width, height and color mode
