Karelia Updates Watson With Weather Updater

Karelia Software has released an update for Watson, bringing it to version1.5.4. Watson is a Web desktop interface designed to simplify Web browsing and bookmarking. The update features enhancements including a Weather plug-in that connects directly to the National Weather Service for current worldwide conditions. According to Karelia Software:

Karelia Software today announced the release of Watson 1.5.4, a maintenance upgrade to its pioneering desktop interface to the most popular web content and services, now featuring a new Weather plug-in.

The application update fixes a number of annoyances, and additionally brings several existing tools up-to-date with the Web site providers.

The Weather plug-in connects to several Web sites of the National Weather Service, giving the user quick access to current conditions for locations all over the world, forecast, doppler radar animations, and infrared satellite images.

Todayis release also includes updates to the eBay, Exchange, Flights, Meerkat, Packages, Reference, TV, Translation, VersionTracker, and Zip Codes tools.
