KavaSoft has released an update for Translation Service, bringing it to version 1.2. Translation Service is a utility designed for translating languages within a Services application. The update features support for customized keyboard shortcuts and menu enhancements. According to KavaSoft:

KavaSoft has released Translation Service 1.2.

Translation Service adds a "Translate" menu to the Services menu, allowing you to translate text between a dozen languages in any application that uses Services.

For example, if you select the text "Hello" in your text editor and choose Services > Translate > English -> Francais, the selected text will be automatically replaced with "Bonjour".

Translation Service works with the following languages: English, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Dutch, Greek, Korean, Portuguese, and Russian.

Version 1.2 allows you to customize keyboard shortcuts and choose which languages appear in the menu.

You can find more information about the Translation Service update at the KavaSoft Web site. Translation Service is available for US$4.99.
