Kentucky Apple Store On the Way

· by · News

Kentucky is set to get a brick and mortar Apple Store in Louisville, adding another store to the companyis line-up, and marking the first Apple retail store in the state. The Courier-Journal reports that the store will be in the Oxmoor Center on Shelbyville Road in St. Matthews - a suburb of Louisville.

The store is getting closer to opening, and job openings have been posted on the Apple Jobs Web site.

Apple is planning to open between 35 and 40 new stores worldwide during 2007, many of which will be in the United States. There is no word on when to expect the Oxmoor Center Apple Store to officially open.
