LaCie Ships New d2 eSATA II Drives

LaCie announced the immediate availability of its new d2 SATA II hard drive series on Tuesday. The new drives feature external SATA connections, 3Gbit interface speeds, Native Command Queuing, a 16MB cache, are hot swappable, and come in capacities up to 500GB. They are priced at US$149.99 for the 250GB model, $179.99 for the 320GB model, and $279.99 for the 500GB model.
