Leopard Cache Cleaner 4 Adds Mac OS X 10.5 Support

Northern Softworks announced the immediate availability of Leopard Cache Cleaner 4.0, formerly Tiger Cache Cleaner, on Friday. The new version of the Mac OS X maintenance application added support for the upcoming release of Mac OS X 10.5, added the ability to create emergency boot disks, and more.

The update also added the ability to optimize free and inactive memory, detect rootkits, repair Home directory permissions, and fixed several bugs. Leopard Cache Cleaner 4.0 requires Mac OS X 10.2 or higher, and is available for download at the Northern Softworks Web site. It is priced at US$8.99, and is a free upgrade for Tiger Cache Cleaner purchases made on or after August 15.
