MacPlay has announced a pre-orders for Activisionis Soldier Of Fortune II: Double Helix for Mac gamers. Soldier Of Fortune is a first person 3D shooter that imerses the player into the world of international mercenaries. According to MacPlay:
MacPlay, a subsidiary of United Developers, announced today that the Macintosh version of Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix is available for pre-order.
Developed by Raven Software, Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix drops players into the ranks of America’s shadow soldiers in a gritty and intense battle for survival. Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix is rated M for MATURE (17 and above) for animated blood, violence and gore. Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix is scheduled for worldwide release July 31, 2002.
In Soldier of Fortune II, players once again assume the role of John Mullins, a military consultant working for the top-secret agency known as The Shop.
