M-Audio has introduced a new line of MidAir wireless USB MIDI controllers and interfaces that will begin shipping this summer. The MidAir 25 offers 25 velocity-sensitive keys, with a 30-foot wireless range at 2.4GHz. It also comes with eight MIDI-assignable knobs, mod and pitch bend wheels, an assignable sustain button and a pedal input.
The MidAir 37 builds on the entry-level model by featuring 37 keys and adding nine assignable faders. The MidAir receiver that comes with both models functions as a standard USB-MIDI interface, which means users can employ it in conjunction with other MIDI gear without needing separate interfaces.
