M-Audio Ships New Electronic Keyboard

M-Audio is now shipping the Keystation 61es for Mac musicians. The Keystation 61es is an electronic keyboard designed for creating custom music arrangements. The keyboard features a velocity sensitive keys and adjustable performance controls. According to M-Audio:

M-Audio, industry-leading manufacturer and distributor of hardware and software for computer-centric musicians, is pleased to announce the newest addition to the Company’s acclaimed Keystation series of products—Keystation 61es. This affordable control solution can be used with or without a computer and caters to the needs of both seasoned musicians and consumers who are learning to play or create music.

The Keystation 61es features a 5-octave semi-weighted, velocity-sensitive keyboard that offers improved performance response compared to basic keybed designs. Performance controls include a pitch bend wheel, assignable modulation wheel, assignable slider control, and assignable foot pedal connection. The unit also features transposition buttons and the ability to send program and bank change messages. Weighing in at just 11 lbs. (5 kg), Keystation 61es is equally suited for mobile and studio use.
