Daystar Technology announced Thursday the update release MAChSpeed Control 3.4, its CPU performance software.
The new version 3.4 includes a wide range of tools for CPU/Cache configuration, profiling, testing and compatibility. It also includes compatibility with all Apple operating systems from Mac OS 9 though Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger. Backside cache speeds on iMac, PowerMac G3, G4 systems and CPU upgrade cards are now up to 10% faster than factory defaults and CPU speeds on iBook G3s and fast G3 CPU Upgrades are now up to 20% faster, the company said.
MAChSpeed Control retails for US$16.95 for the Mac OS X version, or $9.95 for Mac OS 9 version.
