MacBook Air Update Addresses Processor Issue

Apple quietly rolled out MacBook Air Software Update 1.0 late on Friday. The update addressed problems users were experiencing with processor cores idling improperly along with video playback issues.

Third-party applications that alter how the MacBook Air processors operate, like CoolBook, need to be uninstalled prior to applying Appleis software update because of compatibility conflicts.

MacBook Air Software Update 1.0 is requires Mac OS X 10.5.4. It is available via Appleis Software Update application, or as a downloadable installer at the Apple Support Web site.
