Mac Motocross Game Goes Gold

Aspyr Media has announced that MTX: Mototrax has gone gold for both the Mac and Windows version; the game will ship on November 10th. Mototrax is a motocross game in the extreme sports tradition.

According to Aspyr, "MTX: Mototrax delivers thrilling mud-slinging, fast-paced racing action at 60 frames per second. Players become further involved in their quest for track domination with authentic environmental effects, realistic sound engines and a pulsating rock soundtrack developed for the game."

Game locations include the Hawaiian Islands, the Bayou, and the Australian Outback.

System requirements are:

  • Mac OS 10.2.8 or later,
  • PowerPC G4/G5, 1GHz or faster
  • 256MB RAM (512MB recommended)
  • 1.4GB free disk space
  • ATI Radeon 7500/nVidia GeForce 2 or better
  • 32MB of VRAM
  • 8X CD-ROM
