MainStage 1.0.1 Improves Stability, More

· by · News

Apple released MainStage 1.0.1 Thursday evening. The update to the live performance audio rig application offers improved stability, addressed some minor usability issues, and added options for saving parameter values when switching patches.

MainStage is included with Logic Studio, and lets users turn their Mac into a live performance rig. The interface links software plug-ins to hardware knobs, faders and buttons so users can control audio and audio effects in real time with external devices. It also sports an interface designed for easy viewing at a distance in dim light when performing live on stage.

The MainStage 1.0.1 update is free and available through Appleis Software Update application, or as a stand alone installer at the Apple Support Web site.
