The grand opening of Appleis U.K. Manchester Arndale store at the Arndale Centre in Manchester, will be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30. In addition to the standard amenities, including the Genius Bar, this store will feature The Studio where customers can get one-on-one training from creative experts. Apple is planning a week long series of events to celebrate the Grand Opening, free training events and free prizes including T-shirts for the first 1000 visitors.
One lucky winner will walk away with the grand prize, a "Digital Lifestyle Collection" valued at ?1825.95 (about US$3,432.95) including a 20-inch flat-panel Intel Core Duo iMac, a 30GB iPod, a Canon Ixus 65 digital camera, a Canon MV960 video camera, and an HP Photosmart 2575 multifunction printer.
This store marks the second Apple location in Manchester, and the seventh in the U.K.
