Mandolux Posts New Desktops

· by Mike Washlesky · News

Mandolux has released new desktops for download today. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent anywhere from abstract imagery to dual monitor desktop configs. According to Mandolux:

mandolux has issued three desktops this week: one Pets (Boston Terrier) and two 2ENTWINE (Abstract) desktops.

About the desktops:

  • There is a new and quite wonderful Pets desktop available: Gus V2. This is aclose-up photograph of my Boston terrier looking at the camera a bit puzzledwith his beautiful eyes and a patch of green grass in the background. Whenyou use this wallpaper, you get the feeling Gus is about to jump and kissyou. Lastly, because of the short depth of field and the position of theSun, an interesting ring-effect was produced on his snout
  • The other two desktops represent my continuing collaboration with 2ENTWINE -makers of Gush: an application that makes instant messaging and newsaggregation simple, functional and attractive. This is an abstract desktopavailable in a wonderful undulated orange background with white jets (thereis also an inverted version)

You can find more information about the new desktops at the Mandolux Web site. The desktops are available as free downloads.
