Pedagoguery Software Inc. has released Tess 1.50.

Tess is a Classic Mac application for exploring the mathematics of tessellations and for creating symmetric illustrations.

Tess 1.50 introduce three-dimensional viewing modes using OpenGL; you can now see your illustrations on tori, cylinders, and planes embedded in three dimensions. The geometries of the surfaces used are mathematically connected to the symmetries of the illustration.

You can find more information about the Tess update at the Pedagoguery Software Inc. Web site. Tess 1.50 is available for US$36.00.
