Maxprog Squeezes Out A Web Dumper Update

Maxprog has released an update for We Dumper, bringing it to version 1.5. Web Dumper is a download tool designed for downloading complete Web pages, including embedded sounds and pictures for offline viewing. The update includes multi-threading and Flash support. According to Maxprog:

Maxprog is proud to present another update of its web tool product named iWeb Dumperi a full featured internet tool that allows users to download web sites for offline browsing.

With Web Dumper you can download entire Web sites off of the Internet, and save them on your hard drive for later offline browsing. Downloaded Web sites are saved on your hard drive with their directory structure intact. Web Dumper automatically downloads HTML documents along with their embedded pictures, sounds, movies and so on while it screens them to look for any enclosed links to other documents.

Whatis new in this release?

  • Web Dumper is now multi-threaded and can use up to 10 simultaneous
  • HTTP connections
  • HTTP URLs with port number is now supported
  • Macromedia Flash file added to file map.
