Melodyne 2 to Get Direct Note Access

Celemony announced Melodyne 2 at the Frankfurt Musikmesse on Thursday. The new version of the audio correction application will include Direct Note Access, a feature that supports editing individual notes in an audio recording.

Melodyne 2 will support VST, AU and RTAS compatible applications including Appleis Logic. It will be available in Fall 2008 for US$399, or $129 as an upgrade. The upgrade will be free for Melodyne purchases made after March 12, 2008.
