Melonsoft Updates Exhibit With User Requested Mods

Melonsoft has released an update for Exhibit, bringing it to version 2.5. Exhibit is an image utility designed for creating HTML photo galleries. The update features user reguested enhancements including expanded Placeholder tags and QuickTime image altering. According to Melonsoft:

Melonsoft today announced the release of Exhibit 2.5.

Exhibit 2.5 bring many requested features to the program and various performance enhancements. Users now have the option to create HTML pages for full view images, as well as more useful navigation elements.

Also new to 2.5 is the addition of more supported Placeholder tags, which allow users to make Exhibit insert dynamic, image-specific text into their generated pages.

Exhibit now also accepts Placeholder tags from within HTML template files. Another highly requested feature, the ability to copy images directly to a Web gallery, our tweak them through QuickTime, also makes its first appearance in Exhibit 2.5.

New Features:

  • Alter images with QuickTime, or copy directly
  • More extensive Placeholder tags
  • Placeholder tags now recognized in HTML templates
  • Redesigned Build settings, for better ease-of-use
  • Minor bug fixes
