Monkeybread Software has released a new version of MBS Plug-in Collection, bringing it to version 4.0. MBS Plug-in Collection is a set of plug-ins and classes designed to expand REALbasic functionality. The latest release features several enhancements including DVD playback and improved Webkit controls. According to Monkeybread Software:
Monkeybread Software releases version 4.0 of the MBS plug-in for REALbasic.
The MBS plug-in comprises a collection of several plug-in parts which extend the REALbasic development environment with over 350 classes and 4 controls featuring over 7200 documented functions.
Following are the major changes to the plug-in collection:
- Added DVD Playback from Mac OS X
- Added methods to query network and disc usage data for Mac OS X
- Improved Webkit controls
- Added several picture effects
- Added ATSUI text rendering classes
- Improved loading of JPEG, TIFF and PNG images
- Added a few CoreAudio classes
