Mozilla Unleashes Firefox Security Update

Firefox 1.0.2, released Wednesday afternoon, corrects three security vulnerability with the Web browser, release notes from Mozilla indicate.

The 8.7MB download corrects issues with "Drag and drop loading of privileged XUL," "Arbitrary code execution from Firefox sidebar panel," and "GIF heap overflow parsing Netscape extension 2." Full details are available here.
