Native Instruments Announces KORE

Native Instruments announced KORE, dubbed a Universal Sound Platform, on Wednesday. KORE includes a hardware controller with USB 2.0 and audi/MIDI connectors, and software for interacting with VST and Audio Unit-compatible applications, including GarageBand, Logic Express, and Logic Pro. It lets users operate plug-ins from a consistent interface, move complex instruments and effects between applications and operating systems, control instruments and effects in real-time through hands-on controls, and more.

KORE will be available on May 8, and is priced at US$579.
