NetNewsWire Updated With Bug Fixes And Disk Caching

Ranchero Software has released an update for NetNewsWire, bringing it to version 1.0.8. NetNewWire is a utility designed for automated Internet news harvesting. The update features several bug fixes and disk caching in the lite version. According to Ranchero Software:

Ranchero Software announces the release of version 1.0.8 of the award-winning NetNewsWire, the easy-to-use RSS Web newsreader for Mac OS X.

This release fixes a couple of small but important bugs. The most important change is that NetNewsWire now prompts for confirmation when quick-subscribing via a "feed" URL.

A new feature for NetNewsWire Lite is disk caching of feeds between runs, a feature that was previously only in the full version.

You can find more information about the NetNewsWire update at the Ranchero Software Web site. NetNewsWire 1.0.8 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$39.95. NetNews Wire Lite is available as freeware.
