New Version of iSale Adds Tiger Support With Dashboard Widget, More

Aspyr Media on Wednesday announced an update to iSale, the eBay sales tool developed by Equinux and distributed by Aspyr in the United States. Version 1.7 adds support for Mac OS X v10.4 "Tiger" by integrating Spotlight, adding a dashboard widget that offers key information about current auctions and introducing an RSS feed that can be used in conjunction with a .Mac account to publicize auctions. iSale 1.7 also features support for Automator.

Aspyr noted that Mac OS X v10.3 "Panther" users get new functionality too, including the option to add alarms for soon-to-end auctions in iCal and the ability to back up auctions to an iDisk. A new e-mail link enables auctioneers to let buyers know about new listings.

This is a free update for existing users. The full software sells for US$39.99 and requires Mac OS X v10.3. A direct link to the download for the update is available at the Equinux Web site.
