OmniWeb 5.5 Adds Intel Mac Support

The Omni Group released officially released the latest version of its Web browser, OmniWeb 5.5, on Wednesday. The updated version is a Universal Binary application, allowing it to run natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. It also uses a customized version of WebKit that improves speed, stability, and Web site compatibility, supports user defined style sheets for Web sites, and includes bug fixes.

OmniWeb 5.5 is available for download at the Omni Group Web site, and is priced at US$29.95. The update is free for registered version 5 users. Upgrades from version 4 cost $9.95.
