PDF Appraiser Creates, Validates PDF/A Documents

· by · News

Apago announced PDF Appraiser and PDF Validator on Tuesday. PDF Appraiser creates PDF documents that are compliant with the PDF/A standard. It also validates PDF documents, converts TIFF and PDF to PDF/A, generates status reports, and in many cases fixes compliance issues. PDF Appraiser will be available at the end of May, and will be priced starting at US$349.

A free version of PDF Appraiser, PDF Validator, will be available for users that only need to verify PDF/A compliant documents. PDF Validator will check your PDF documents for PDF/A compliance and generate basic reports showing problems that need to be fixed.
