Parliant Corporation has released a new app for Mac users, PhoneValet 1.0. PhoneValet is a utility designed as a personal telephone assistant. The app ships with several features including the ability to time calls and dial on speech recognition. According to Parliant Corporation:

Parliant Corporation has begun to ship PhoneValet through our online Webstore.

PhoneValet is an inexpensive single or multi-line computer-telephony solution for Mac announced at MacWorld Expo. Built from the ground up to harness the power of Mac OS X, PhoneValet includes all the hardware and software required to connect your Mac to the phone line.

Your telephone can be both a lifeline to the outside world and a source of irritation. Instead of hiring a personal assistant, let PhoneValet screen calls, lookup and dial phone numbers and maintain your phonebook. With PhoneValet as your Personal Telephone Assistant you can focus on the important tasks in life and work.

You can find more information about the PhoneValet release at the Parliant Corporation Web site. PhoneValet 1.0 is available for US$129.95.
