Ambrosia Software Inc. has released an update for Pillars of Garendall, bringing it to version 1.0.1. Pillars of Garendall is a action-oriented role playing game with extensive support for plug-ins which allows for expansion. The update includes performance enhancements including speed and bug fixes. Ambrosia Software, Inc. released today version 1.0.1 of the epic role playing game Pillars of Garendall, and a companion plugin called "Trinity" that greatly extends the game. Pillars of Garendall thrusts the player into the eye of a fantastic storm of adventure and discovery through the Kingdom of Garendall.
The Pillars of Garendall 1.0.1 update provides speed improvements, bug fixes, and other enhancements. The Trinity plugin adds three new specialties to choose from: swordsman, ranger, and conjurer. Each specialty starts with different base statistics and equipment. In addition to this extended character development and new original items, the player of each class has a special new location of his own to discover in the Kingdom of Garendall. The ranger and conjurer also have a new appearance.
In addition to extending the gameplay in Pillars of Garendall, the Trinity plugin demonstrates the power and simplicity of the Coldstone gaming engine. When Coldstone is released later on this year, user will be able to extend Pillars of Garendall by creating their own plugins like Trinity, or they can even create their own full-blown adventure games (for both Mac and Windows).
