Quark Announces QuarkXPress Server 7

CHICAGO -- Quark announced a new version of their Digital Document Server at Graph Expo in Chicago on Monday. Formerly known as QuarkDDS, the newly -hristened QuarkXPress Server 7 can generate native QuarkXpress documents from databases as well as from user input through a Web browser. The server application manages variable data content output and catalog layout, it imports and exports XML, and can accept content from database applications such as FileMaker Pro.

QuarkXPress 7 Server is a Universal Binary application capable of running natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. It will be available within a month.
