QuickerTek Intros ExpressCard with External Antenna

QuickerTek announced the immediate availability of a new version of its ExpressCard Wi-Fi network adapter with an external antenna on Monday. The ExpressCard is compatible with Appleis MacBook Pro, supports 802.11a, b, and g wireless networks, and extends the laptopis wireless range beyond Appleis built-in antennas.

The Wi-Fi adapter offers 300 milliwatts of RF power instead of the 30 milliwatts in Appleis built-in AirPort Extreme, supports WPA along with WPA2-64bit and 128-bit WEP encryption, and its external triple-antenna can be clipped to the MacBook Prois case or positioned away from the laptop.

The ExpressCard with Antenna is priced at US$199.95 and is available at the QuickerTek Web site.
