QuickerTek Offers 802.11n Upgrade for iMacs

QuickerTek announced the immediate availability of its new 802.11n wireless upgrade for Appleis Intel-based Mac mini and early model 24-inch iMac on Friday. The 802.11n Upgrade allows iMac and Mac mini users to take advantage of the faster wireless network speeds offered by 802.11n-compliant access points like Appleis AirPort Extreme Basestation.

The 802.11n Upgrade kit is user installable, or QuickerTek offers an installation service for users that donit want to handle the upgrade themselves. The kit includes an 802.11n network card and replacement antenna, tools, and instructions.

The kit is available at the QuickerTek Web site, and is priced starting at US$149 for the user installed version, or $199 plus shipping if installed by QuickerTek.
