Realmac Software has released an update for Voice Box, bringing it to version 1.2. Voice Box is a speech utility designed for speaking text as it is being written. The update ships with improved text features and bug fixes. According to Realmac Software

Realmac Software releases Voice Box 1.2 for Mac OS X.

VoiceBox alows your Mac to speak text as you type and also save the text out as a spoken sound file.

You can even modify the voices using pitch and rate. In this latest update to Voice Box we have added full Applescript support, so now any function within the app can be scripted.
