Apple Inc. announced Thursday that the beta release of Safari 3 for Windows was downloaded more than one million times in just the first 48 hours after release. The beta of Safari 3 was released Monday for both Mac OS X and Windows, the first version of Appleis browser to run on Windows, during Steve Jobsi keynote event at this weekis World Wide Developer Conference. The 48 hour time frame means that mark was passed sometime early on Wednesday.
