· by · News

ScreenTime Media announced on Tuesday version 3 of its Flash-based application creator mProjector. mProjector V3 adds alpha channel window drawing, web content embedding, seven new ActionScript classes and more than 100 cross platform functions directly into the Flash IDE which enables the creation of elegant desktop applications.

"We eat our own dog food," said ScreenTime Media President Brian Hutchins. "The new version of mProjector was created with mProjector, show-casing its power and cross platform capabilities."

mProjector is a tool for application and widget development under Mac OS X and Windows. It allows the developer to create smooth, anti-aliased "Flash Shaped" windows and allow them to break out of the Browser environment with native applications.

The mProjector V3 upgrade is free to registered users. It requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 or later. It is priced at US$199 for a single OS and US$299 for a Mac and Windows version.
